Vamos a la playa! – Holiday at Spain’s coasts

From the northern border with France down to the border with Portugal the areas of the Spanish Mediterranean coast string together: Costa Brava, Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol are just the most famous ones.     Ein Auto ist notwendig, sonst sind die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nicht erreichbar. In Almunecar ist alles vorhanden und auch günstig einzukaufen, wenn man sich entsprechend orientiert. Wir waren außerhalb der Saison (April) dort, da ist es angenehm ruhig, viele Läden an der Promenade sind zu. In der Saison ist es sicher sehr überlaufen - das muss man mögen. Da das Haus aber außerhalb liegt, kann man sich fernhalten.

    Gute Ausgangslage für Besichtigungen in Andalusien (Granada, Nerja, Almeria) - in der Nähe viele kleine ruhige Strände - aber auch Angebote für die ganze Familie.

    Das Zentrum von Almunecar bietet viele schöne Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es hat sich befürwortet, ein Auto zu mieten, um die umliegenden Geschäfte, Supermärkte und Sehenswürdigkeiten (innerhalb von 7 Minuten) zu erreichen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist ein Eiscafé direkt neben einer Praxis von deutschen Allgemeinmedizinern an der Strandhauptstraße.

    Paradiesische Ruhe in der Villa, also Auto zwingend erforderlich. Fußläufig sind keine Geschäfte zu erreichen. Zum Strand über steile Serpentinenstraße zu Fuß ganz gemütlich in 25 Minuten (bergauf deutlich länger). Alternativen sind nur für absolut schwindelfreie in kürzerer Zeit möglich. Folgt man der Uferstraße weiter kommt man nach Cotobro und zu einem sehr großen, gut ausgestatteten Supermarkt mit Fleisch-/Fischtheke plus Tiefgarage. Etwas weiter der Uferstraße folgend liegt Almunecar. Es bietet einige hübsche Einkaufsgassen, eine nette Promenade und Einkehrmöglichkeiten z. B. im Strandrestaurant Pedro. Für Ausflüge in die Umgebung ist die Lage sehr gut geeignet, falls man die paradiesische Villa überhaupt verlassen möchte.
    Die Entfernung nach Malaga/Granada beträgt ca. 1 Stunde Autofahrt. Sehr hübsch und schön zum Einkaufen von handgefertigten Souvenirs ist Frigiliana, das weiße Dorf, oberhalb von Nerja (ca. 1/2 Std. Autofahrt).

    Für die Fahrt zum Einkauf muß man schon 8 km fahren. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto um die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung kennenzulernen, aber dass haben wir bei der Buchung bzw. beim Ziel unseres Urlaubsortes schon bedacht. Uns hat es Spaß gemacht alles zu erkunden. Der Ort La Herradurra ist wunderschön und der Platz des Hauses ist optimal wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht. Wir haben diesen Urlaub sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder dieses Ferienhaus wählen.
