De streek is erg bepaald door het oorlogsverleden. Gelukkig is er, ter ontspanning, het heerlijke Omaha-Beach-zandstrand dicht bij.
Op een week heb je de streek wel gezien. Langer verblijf enkel aangewezen als je van strandvakantie houdt. De bezienswaardigheden zijn beperkter en allemaal in dezelfde stijl.
Ligt dicht genoeg bij winkels (een 6tal km en daar vind je dan ook echt àlles)
