Vamos a la playa! – Holiday at Spain’s coasts

From the northern border with France down to the border with Portugal the areas of the Spanish Mediterranean coast string together: Costa Brava, Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol are just the most famous ones. Why don’t you take a look at the atraveo offers along the Costa Dorada, Costa del Azahar, Costa Calida or Costa Tropical. The chances of finding the perfect holiday house are as good as it is on one of the two famous Spanish island groups, the Canary and Balearic Islands.
Spain offers everything you need for a great vacation at the seaside. Long beaches, kid’s playing at the beach under gloriously blue skies whilst the parents enjoy the time out from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the tranquillity. A dip in the sea for cooling-off, an ice cream at the near-by kiosk or bathing in the sun on a comfy sun lounger.
Also the multi-faceted cultural life in Spain provides for entertainment. This does not only include the many interesting exhibitions and museums, such as the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao or the great museums in Valencia and Barcelona – but also party animals and night owls will get their money’s worth.

    Schöne Stadt, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Empfehlenswert: die Markthalle! In den Außenbezirken teilweise ziemlich heruntergekommen und viele Baustellen.

    Einkaufsmöglichkeiten = sehr gut.
    Gastronomie = im Ort eher bescheiden (liegt vielleicht an der Jahreszeit: Saison-Ende). In Malaga-Stadt sicher besser.
    Sehenswürdigkeiten = ok.
    Kinderfreundlichkeit = keine Angabe.
    Sport- und Freizeitangebote: keine Angebe.
    Preisniveau: ok.
    Lage = Ende September wirkt der kleine Ort eher verschlafen. Dies wird sicher zur Hauptsaison anders sein. Malaga ist zu Fuß und mit dem Bus gut zu erreichen. Grundsätzlich muss man aber auch hier feststellen, dass der "Lack ab ist". Als Ferienort gibt es schönere Fleckchen.

    Málaga ist eine sehr, sehr schöne, gepflegte und gut erhaltene Stadt. Im Stadtzentrum gibt es zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, und wem diese nicht ausreichen, sind sogar größere Shoppingmalls mit dem Bus in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Kulturell gibt es auch viel zu bieten: Museen, Burgen, Gärten...Direkt vor der Haustür am Plaza de la Merced bieten schon die ersten Restaurants und Bars spanische und italienische Spezialitäten (Tapas, Pasta, Pizza...) an und im Stadtzentrum wird niemand mit leerem Magen ausgehen. ;) Clubs und Bars sind ebenfalls zahlreich im Zentrum vorzufinden. Der Hafen ist ebenfalls in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Dieser ist sehr modern und neu gestaltet und bietet Restaurants und Bars en masse. Der Stadtstrand Malagueta ist in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen und auch weiter entfernte Strände können mit dem Bus erreicht werden. Málaga ist eine Stadt für jedermann, egal ob jung oder alt. :)
