    Zum Einkaufen braucht man ein Auto, allerdings ist es auch zum Erkunden der Küste und des Hinterlandes von großem Vorteil eines zu haben. Passende Gaststätten für Familien haben wir nicht extrem viele gefunden - eine Eisdiele und Café ist uns auch nicht aufgefallen, aber sonst ok. Zum hinteren Teil des Ortes ist man ab Hotel knapp 1/2 Stunde zu Fuß unterwegs - schöner Weg dorthin.

    Bei einem richtigen Einkauf ist man schon auf das Auto angewiesen. Und auch nach Mandelieu und La Napoule sind es doch ein rechtes Stück zu Fuß. Der Ort ist aber super gelegen für Ausflüge mit dem Auto nach Cannes, St. Raphael oder auch etwas weiter nach St. Tropez. In La Napoule haben wir fürs Essen immer mehr bezahlt als in Cannes, was uns doch etwas erstaunt hat.

    Mandelieu hat uns sehr gutgefallen, weil es nicht so überlaufen war, wie z.B. Cannes. Es gibt unheimlich viele Grünanlagen und Parks mit schönen Spazierwegen.

    Hier ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Toller Strand mit Schloß im Hintergrund. Im August allerdings sehr voll. Wenn man die Reisezeit frei bestimmen kann, dann lieber Juni- Mitte Juli oder ab September.
