Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Waldrandlage zum Eingang der Wildbachklamm "Buchberger Leite".
Ideal für Familien mit Kindern und Tieren, um einen Urlaub in aller Ruhe geniessen zu können. Das Grundstück ist weitläufig eingezäunt. Wir befinden uns mit auf dem Gelände. Ein Wanderweg führt direkt am Haus vorbei, weitere Wanderwege befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Die Gemeinde Ringelai bietet zahlreiche Freizeitmöglichkeiten (archäologischer Erlebnispark �Gabreta�, Kräutergarten, Hexenmuseeum, Theater, Angeln) im Bereich Kultur und Sport an.
Natürlich können Sie auch überall die wunderschöne Natur des Bayerischen Waldes geniessen.
In der Nähe befinden sich der Nationalpark, Berge wie Arber - Lusen - Dreisessel - Rachel, Westernstadt Pullman-City, Freizeitpark Reisbach und Loifing.
Sehr beliebt sind Ausflüge zu dem benachbarten Czechien (z.Bsp. Prag) und Österreich (Linz), sowie eine Schifffahrt in der Dreiflüssestadt Passau.

Das Quartier war in Ordnung. Lediglich das Toilettenpapier war mit einer Rolle und einem vorhandenen Rest nach zwei Tagen aufgebraucht. Ersatzrollen waren nicht vorhanden. Einen Holzkohlegrill gabs auf Nachfrage. Leider waren die Eigentümer am Abreisetag nicht anwesend, sodass wir uns nicht verabschieden konnten.
