On a unique spot on the middle of an alp, bordered by pine trees and a 360° view! That is our "Klippitzturm", a lovely house with all convenience and comfort for up to 10 people.

Experience the Austrian hospitality, enjoy mountains and lakes and the fresh, beautiful nature. In short, holiday as holiday is supposed to be. In winter you can enjoy the snow and numerous winter sports (right outside the house!): skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, sledging and more.

Skiing at the ski-alm Klippitztörl is a well kept secret in Carinthia. The friendly, familiar atmosphere will be a guarantee for an enjoyable winter sport holiday. The rest of the year the surroundings will also offer you countless possibilities like: walking, hiking, mountain biking, water sport, fishing, tennis, “summer-rodeln”, golf etc. Or just relaxing without the usual daily stress.
Carinthia is well known for its many hours of sun and is in summer usually warmer than other regions in Austria.

In less than an hour’s drive you can reach Graz in the east or Klagenfurt in the south, cities that will offer you culture, shopping and a large choice of restaurants. But off course there are also nearby villages and towns that have a variety or things to offer.

An ideal holiday address if you like quietness far away from mass tourism but with the cosiness around the corner. Our Klippitzturm as a result of the amount of beds and bathrooms is perfectly suited for not only one party but also for example for 2 families, several couples or a small group etc.

Hell, freundlich, für uns fünf gab es viel und genug Platz. Von den Terrassen, die man von allen Zimmern aus betreten kann, hat man einen herrlichen Blick über das Tal und in die umliegenden Berge. Auch ein heftiges Unwetter war da oben spannend und einzigartig.
Da das Haus sehr hoch liegt, gab es wenig Ungeziefer und während es im Tal heiß war, hatten wir da oben immer eine angenehme Temperatur.

Um uns herum war erst einmal nichts, nur Wanderwege, die Schotterpiste bis zum Haus und viele Baustellen. Doch die Wanderwege gehen direkt vom Haus aus los, und sogar die Sommerrodelbahn und der Klettergarten sind zu Fuß erreichbar.

Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, alles, was man sich wünscht, konnte man in einem der Schränke finden. Das einzige, was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, war, dass es keine Scheibengardinen gab, die Nachbarn also immer zu uns hinein gucken konnten. Sonst ist dieses Haus super, auch von der Optik her.
