Eine idyllische, schmale Dorfstr. führt Sie am malerischen und fischreichen Årdalsfjord entlang zu diesem Haus. Die Lage ist einfach fantastisch, mit Panoramaaussicht über den Fjord und zu den darin verstreut liegenden Inseln! Ausserdem gibt es im Fjord viele beisswillige Fische, die Sie mit der Rute von Land oder vom mietbaren Boot aus angeln können, das unten am gemeinschaftlichen Steg vertäut liegt. Im Sommer kocht der Fjord hier förmlich von Makrelen. Der bekannte Lachsfluss Årdalselven mündet im Fjord, sodass auch ein Lachs am Haken keine Seltenheit ist. Geniessen Sie es, abends in aller Ruhe unten am Fjordufer den frischen Fang des Tages auf dem Grill zuzubereiten, während die Sonne sich hinter das Gebirge zurückzieht und versinkt. Das ist Urlaubsfeeling pur! Gutes Angelrevier das ganze Jahr hindurch.

Grossartiges Terrain ringsum für Wanderungen. Dieses ist auch ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt, um die grösste Touristenattraktion der gesamten Region Ryfylke näher in Augenschein zu nehmen. Preikestolen ist ein Felsvorsprung mit einem Ausblick ganze 604 m steil hinunter in die Tiefe bis zum Lysefjord. Diesen Anblick kann man so schnell nicht vergessen! Eine Rundfahrt per Touristenfähre den Lysefjord entlang und weiter per Auto ab Lyseboten und durch die 27 Haarnadelkurven hinauf zum Gipfel auf 932 m.ü.M. ist auch für bereiste Gäste noch ein besonderes Erlebnis.
Der Eigentümer wohnt gleich nebenan.

Die Familie des Eigentümers wohnt nebenan, sie waren sehr nett.
Bis zum Fjord war es zwar weiter als die angegebenen 500 m, aber das Bootshaus und der erfolgreiche Fang entschädigten dafür.
