Moorish Biniaraix is a small village nestled in the foothills between the coastal mountain range Tramutana and the town of Soller. And the village of Soller Fornalux are both approximately 20 minutes by foot and Palma and the airport is about 30 minutes by car.
Mallorquina small town with a population of 120 inhabitants. It is located a short distance from Sóller and the Barranco de Biniaraix as its main attraction as well as its green landscapes throughout the year.
The ascent of the Barranco Biniaraix is one of the most spectacular hikes that can be made by the ancient cobbled roads of the Serra de Tramuntana.
The route starts in the wash Biniaraix public, a small village on the outskirts of Sóller. The road climbs up the Barranc and, via the Coll de l'Ofre about 900 meters high, reaches the reservoir of Cubero.
This trip is long and it takes four hours to make the entire journey, but walk a little over an hour to reach the upper area of the gorge where you can appreciate its charm.
The banks and other buildings of dry wall, olives and other plant species, sheep and donkeys, and the torrents of Ofre and is Verger (who joined shortly before S'Estret) form an extremely attractive site
Sóller and the surrounding Tramuntana mountains offer a variety of paths for long walks and hikes. This is both for the "recreational runners" who wants to enjoy the mountains and the fantastic views, as well as the trained "professional wanderers" the right route here. ...
Mallorca has excellent and varied bicycle paths and tours: both for cyclists as well as mountain biking offers exactly the Tramontana very many ways to measure themselves with the mountains while enjoying a breathtaking landscape. Mountain biking outside of public roads, however, is somewhat limited, since a large part of Mallorca is in private ownership. It is therefore recommended the use of a good map.
The place got its name because of Sóller fertile soil in which it arises. Still here, juicy oranges and lemons, sweet figs and dates and gnarled olive trees are grown. Sóller is known for its olive production, so there is, for example, two oil presses, which can be visited.
As the place is surrounded by mountains of the Tramuntana Mountains, he was up to the 20th Century to reach into difficult. 1 out of Palma is a beautiful serpentine road winds up to Soller, since 1997, also carries out a faster way to tunnel through the mountain. For this line, however, a toll is required.
The core of the city is ideal for a walk and boasts many attractions. The Plaça Sat Constitució is the center of Sóller. Here one can con leche at a cafe in the shade of the trees sit, watching the goings and regarded the adjoining parish church of Sant Bartolomeu. This originates from the year 1248 was, but later changed again and again. The colorful, gilded glass windows are beautiful to look at and inside stands a Gothic Madonna with Child Jesus in her arms.
On the other side of the Plaza Sat Constitució is the market hall. Here you can buy fresh oranges and olives from the surrounding region.

He belongs to the scientific Museu de Ciencias Naturales Balear and includes 125 different endemic plant species. Sóller is not only a remarkable little town, but also the terminus of the "red lightning".
On the north coast of Majorca, about 4 km inland, lies the small but prosperous town of Soller. Protected by the ridges of the surrounding mountains, Soller is one of the most fertile valleys of Mallorca and is therefore also called the garden of Mallorca. Unexpected change in wealth grow lemons and oranges, olives and almonds and the valley into a garden of Eden. The original and respectable place can be favorably with the historic train, the so-called red lightning to reach from Palma and is therefore popular destination for day trippers. Lies on the sea side, in a beautiful protected bay Port de Soller, the real tourist center of Soller. In close proximity to the port itself is a small but nice sandy beach and many cafes and restaurants cater for the physical well here.

PUERTO DE SOLLER
The bay of Sóller is surrounded by mountains and is very popular with tourists. The ride on the historic tram from Sóller's worth it: they rumble and clatter arrives at the port, located on the small beach in high season countless sunbathers. On the main road it's usually very crowded, but it turns into an off the side streets, you will discover small tranquil cafés that are not overcrowded. It is also recommended to Port de Sóller to look at from a higher vantage point. The lighthouse at Cap Gros and his opposite tower Torre Picada are best suited for it. Then one of the harbor with its small fishing boats, the beautiful bay and bustle as painted feet.
