    Der Ort kann sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in die Umgebung oder für entsprechende Tagesausflüge genutzt werden, da er direkt an der Alpenstraße liegt. Im Ort gibt es aber kaum Möglichkeiten, den Abend zu verbringen. Einkaufen muss man in Inzell oder Bad Reichenhall. Es gibt aber ein sehr gutes Restaurant im Ort (Alpengasthof).

    Die Weißbachschlucht ist sehr sehenswert. Die Wanderwege waren im Ort gut geräumt und sehr schön angelegt.
