Summer and winter fun between the Alps and Dolomites

    Im Ort Goldrain befinden sich 3 Restaurants, die alle innerhalb ca. 10-15 min zu Fuß erreichbar und zu empfehlen sind. Ebenfalls befindet sich ein kleiner Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei direkt im Ort. Im ca. 4 Kilometer entfernten Ort Latsch gibt es weitere Geschäfte (Spar, Lidl, etc.). Es können direkt ab Goldrain diverse Wanderungen begonnen werden. Bahnhof (Vinschgauer Bahn) und Bushaltestelle sind innerhalb ca. 15 min erreichbar, somit könnte sogar während des Urlaubs auf das eigene Auto verzichtet werden.

    Es gibt für alles ein Geschaft. Egal ob Post, mehrere Bäcker usw. Selbst ein kleines EKZ mit Lidl gibts hier. Der Ort ist typisch für Südtirol, schöne alte Bauten, 3 Kirchen. Einen Bahnhof gibts auch mit Zügen nach Meran.

    Es gibt fußlaufig zu erreichen zwei (kleinere) Supermärkte und 3 gastronomische Angebote. Am besten gefallen hat uns der Brugenwirt - die Karte ist ist gut bestückt und bietet auch lokale Spezialitäten - das Preisniveau ist in Goldrain übrigens günstig! Der Ort selbst ist eher klein, was wir aber mögen und bietet eine gute Ausgangslage, um im mittleren und oberen Vinschgau (besonders aber auch im Martelltal) vielfältige Wandertouren oder Radtouren zu machen.
