Summer and winter fun between the Alps and Dolomites

    Schöner Ort, freundliche Bewohner, reichlich gute Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wanderungen im Tal und bis >3000 m möglich.

    Der Ort ist einerseits ruhig und nicht zu groß, aber er hat eine große Vielfalt an Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, fast wie ein kleines Städtchen. Auch die Touristeninformation, das Nationalparkhaus und die Burg sind klasse. Empfehlenswert auch das neue Badezentrum mit Hallenbad und Außenbecken sowie Naturbadesee (im Sommer). Sehr gut auch die Möglichkeiten zum Einkehren in den Almen (jedenfalls bis Mitte Oktober) und in sonstigen Gasthäusern. Sehr vielfältige Tourenmöglichkeiten, von ganz leicht bis ganz schwer. Insgesamt ein Ort der Spitzenklasse, wenn man gerne bergwandert, aber doch komfortabel wohnen und die Abende verbringen möchte.
