    Es gibt genau ein Restaurant, keinen Marktplatz um sich abends auf eine Terrasse zu setzen oder zu bummeln, auch Spaziergänge mit dem Hund sind schwierig, da es keine Wanderwege vom Haus aus gibt. Krk ist in Sichtweite, aber man muss eine mautpflichtige Brücke dahin überqueren.
    Alles in Allem: trostloses Umfeld.

    In Smrika gibt es etwa 1km vom Ferienhaus einen kleine Laden, bei dem man sich mit den notdürftigsten Sachen ausstatten kann. Möchte man etwas mehr vielfallt haben, ist in Jadranovo oder Crikvenica jeweils ein größeres Einkaufsgeschäft, mit dem Namen KONZUM. Um sehr viel vielfallt zu bekommen, ist kurz vor Rijeka, direkt an der Bundesstraße 8, nochmals eine sehr große Einkaufsmöglichkeit namens PLODINE.
    Sehenswertes gibt es zu genüge auf der Insel Krk. Für eine kleine Gebühr kann man mit dem Auto auf die Insel fahren und dort herrum fahren sowie schön spazieren gehen. Rijeka ist sehr groß und bietet viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Jadronovo, Smrika und Crikvenica, sind unserer Meinung nach nicht sehr attraktiv. Aber für genaueres stehen die Vermieter sowie ein Informationsordner im Haus zur Verfügung. In Bakar ist ein Restaurant (gut ausgeschildert) wo man sehr gut essen kann.
    Für die Sportlichen haben wir nicht viel entdeckt in unsere kurzen Aufenthaltsdauer. Ebenso stehen für Kinder in Smrika keine Spielplätze bereit. Aber das Ferienhaus ist sehr Kinderfreundlich.
