Finca Holiday on the sunny island with view onto the sea and the neighbour islands

The owners invite you to experience our beautiful holiday home far away from mass tourism in calm, rural surroundings. They offer you our fully detached first class holiday home for two. Your residence is part of our more than 30.000 m² measuring finca; on your holiday you can call a plot of 250 m² your place - patio and barbecue included. Subtropical plants flourish in the garden and you will have an incredible view over the Atlantic Ocean and the islands of La Gomera and La Palma.

Here on Tenerife’s west coast above the villages of Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena we have 350 days of sunshine per year. You can look forward to enjoying the very calm and silent finca next to a natural reserve 450 m above sea level. Spend untroubled holidays on the finca under dreamlike sun, even in the wintertime. Enjoy numerous recreational activities and discover Tenerife’s rich cultural heritage and the island’s delicate gastronomic specialties. The next village, Chío, is located just about 3 km from the finca, so you can also reach it if you go for a walk enjoying the beautiful environment. To get to know the island or to go shopping you will need a car. The owners are happy to help you rent a car.

Chío, a beautiful small village, is just a five minutes’ drive away. There you can do your daily shopping, find some restaurants, take a walk or simply explore the country and it’s people. You can reach the next beach in Playa de la Arena in about 10 minutes by car. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches on the island with its typical black sand and the Atlantic Oceans’ clear water. The cute little villages nearby, Los Gigantes, Playa de la Arena and Alcalá have romantic bays that are worth visiting.

In the stand-alone holiday home you will find – apart from the incredible view on the ocean and the neighboring islands La Gomera and La Palma – a completely furnished kitchen with fridge and freezer, a gas oven, a microwave, a toaster, and a coffee machine. Next to the kitchenette you have got a little dinette with a wonderful ocean view. In the residential area you may have a seat on a comfortable couch, read a book, enjoy music on the 3.1 sound system or watch a movie on the LED flat screen – Astra offers you German and English satellite TV and radio. You may also bring your own movies. In the bathroom you will find a shower, a washing stand, and a toilet with a funny lid. The bedroom is bright, painted in fresh colors and arranged with modern furniture, inviting you to be comfortable. During wintertime a gas oven will be provided to you.

You have got your own patio with a nice barbecue in the outdoor area. During your barbecues you have a very nice view into the garden and the surroundings. A comfortable bench invites you to enjoy the sunset under palm trees - depending on the season, diving into the sea or disappearing behind one of the neighboring islands.

On the finca, the owhners live together with their dogs Rambo, Lily and Findus – protected by them and the gates you can feel save.
The water you will use is of the highest quality from a nearby deep well; the electricity is generated by the sun – in isolated operation, without connection to the public electric supply network. During the few rainy days and the adverse weather period in the winter there might be an undersupply – for those cases the owners have a diesel generator.

The owners grow wine, fruits, vegetables and spices in the garden. They are glad to offer you some of the organic seasonal products for sale.

The mobile telephone networks of Telefónica, Vodafone and other providers support the Finca with coverage. You have internet access via Wi-Fi, free and fair usage provided.

The owners will extend a warm welcome to you with a bowl of local fruits and a bottle of excellent Spanish wine.

    “A for 2 persons ideal, well maintained and furnished with attention to detail Finca. Nice pool for own use, large terrace facing the sea to enjoy the evening sun, with its scenic separate open space, suitable for the first rays in the morning. The property is located outside of Chio at about 450 meters of altitude in a very quiet area. For us city a pleasure. At night one hears occasionally some dogs and even a rooster does not bother us. We were late September / early October, so it has good night also cooled, with good beds thus also wonderful for sleeping. The device is very convenient. A canceled by us shower attachment was repaired promptly and professionally during the stay by the landlord. Praiseworthy is the hospitality of the owner family.     “First impressions of the house were excellent - very clean, tidy and modern. The drive to the house was quite long and down a long curvy hill which wouldn't suit all drivers. Lovely garden, pretty barbecue/breakfast area and beautiful infinity pool with fabulous views. This house is well suited to a very quiet peaceful holiday in warm weather. Lots of sunbathing and reading! Unfortunately the weather broke for us and we did find the house extremely cold. After 2 days we had to ask for a heater, which really should have been supplied without us having to ask. Very nice welcome pack was waiting for us. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and spoke excellent English. An instruction book for the microwave would have been helpful as we do not speak German! The two local supermarkets are quite small with not large selections and the delicatessen was closed the whole time we were there. For a choice one needs to stock up lower down.”
