Stunning and spacious holiday cottage with a sunny inner courtyard for six persons, near the sea

This holiday cottages dates back to the late 17th century. In 2013, it was fully restored and particular care was taken not to compromise its original and traditional charm. This is a listed building and it is part of Tenerife’s historical and cultural heritage. It is beautifully located in the island’s north and is an ideal base for many leisure activities. The one storey building is equipped to host a maximum number of six persons, and it has Canary Island Tourism Office certification.

The holiday cottage features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and space for an extra bed which can be made available on request, and one with two single beds and a sofa bed for two persons. On request, a bed for a child can also be made available. From the big bedroom with four sleeping spaces, you have access to the adjacent bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. There is an additional bathroom with a shower, sink and a toilet at the other end of the house. Between the big bedroom and the living room is a small study, which you can use for reading and relaxing. The spacious living room is equipped with two stylish and comfortable sofas, satellite television, DVD player, and free of charge WLAN. Walking across the living room, you get to the separate dining room with a large dining table and chairs for six persons. Adjacent to the dining room, there is a fully equipped open plan kitchen, which also has a dining area. From the kitchen you have direct access to the sunny inner courtyard, equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers and sun shade. Walking across the yard you get to a small laundry room which has a washing machine available to guests. Next to the terrace in the inner courtyard, there is a roofed area which is also equipped with a table and chairs.

This accommodation is located in the historic part of the town of San Juan de las Rambla, and from here you can quickly get to the sea and the mountains. This is what makes this an attractive tourist location. You can either spend a relaxing day at the beach, or cool down in one of the natural swimming pools formed in the rocks at the whims of Mother nature. These are not far from the holiday cottage. The surrounding area also has many sports activities on offer. For example, you can take advantage of the many hiking trails along the coast and across the nearby mountains. These hiking trails start right in the town of San Juan de la Rambla, where your holiday home is located. The island’s capital of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is some 40 km away. You get there passing many different small villages, which are also worth a visit. The small village of Las Aguas is approximately one kilometre away, and here you find various restaurants, and the village also marks the starting point of the hiking paths along the coast. Tenerife’s north airport is approximately a 30 minutes’ drive away and to the airport south it takes some 60 minutes by car. You can also take advantage of a regular public bus service.

    “A very large house, very well equipped. When we arrived in a disaster, we could not do the shopping, so we were rather happy to find something to drink and have breakfast.
