Light-filled holiday home, furnished in a modern way with a pool in its own garden and a panoramic view

The 180 m² villa is located in the picturesque village of Haria, overlooking the popular valley of 1,000 palm trees. The house was built in 1988 and completely renovated in 2013 by the owners. The result is a modern, spacious and bright holiday villa for the whole family.

The house has five tastefully decorated bedrooms; one with two single beds and the others with a double bed - which also consists of two single beds. One of the bedrooms also has its own bathroom. This and the other two bathrooms each have a shower or a bathtub with a shower facility, washbasin and toilet. The modern and fully equipped kitchen has a stove, oven, fridge, freezer compartment, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and coffee machine. The spacious and light-filled living room is equipped with a large corner sofa, a television with digital connection and a DVD player as well as a large dining table for meals together. You will also find the staircase here that leads to the upper floor. For added comfort and safety on holiday, the house has wireless Internet access (WLAN) and an alarm system.

The house has a large conservatory with a table and chairs as well as a large terrace with garden furniture, from where you can enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view. The highlight on the property is, however, the private pool where there are sun loungers available to you. The house is not completely fenced, but is only enclosed by a low wall and plants.

The nearest shopping possibilities and public transport can be found about 400 m away. A restaurant is only about 200 m away. You have to travel about 6 km to reach the sea and the nearest sandy beach. Here you can play water sports and go fishing, among other things. A golf course is about 26 km away, while the airport is about 35 km away.

    “Very nice and spacious apartment! On arrival all the beds were made and enough towels were provided. A warm welcome by the mother of the owner who gave us a 'welcome pack "containing a bottle of wine, bread, toppings, hand soap, washing powder and dishwasher tablets.

    “The house is clean and very tidy, the decor is quite adequate and the beds are very good.
    We had one day of rain, but the spacious conservatory did not feel like we had to sit inside.
    The pool is not heated and at a cloudy day is still quite fresh!

    The house has one huge disadvantage, and those are the dogs from the neighbors!
    The two dogs sitting outside on a leash and never go inside. We have seven nights slept in the house and all days were the dogs barking and yelping.
    We are going to bring misery earplugs to sleep somewhat.

    We have contacted the owner and who again tried to contact with the neighbors, but to no avail. When we finally saw the neighbors they said they could not help it, and that it was no different !!

    “Thanks so much for your review. To be honest, as we told you, we have never had any complain regarding this matter. In fact, this is the only one we have had so far. This was an one off situation, as they are usually very calm, so we immediately tried to contact the owner of the house to find out the reason of this strange dogs behavior.

    After our many unsuccessful efforts to reach him, we offered you to move to another very nice property if the problem persisted. Nonetheless, you declined it, saying it was quite at the moment. After your departure, we found out that he had been taking to the hospital. The people you met were not the owners, these ladies were just his friends in charge of feeding the dogs while he was away.

    What we still can't understand is the fact that you kept sleeping in the same bedroom . This is the only one that faces the neighbor's house, when the house got other bedrooms ready to be used, placed at the other side of the house, quite far from the dogs.

    However, I appreciate this review and take advantage of this occasion to stress the fact that the house, although placed in a hilly and peaceful place, is in a rural setting. So you can't avoid the occasional barking of dogs, cockerel's call or the singing of birds.
