Quietly located, modern and comfortable holiday apartments on a country estate, outside of the historic centre of the city

This agriturismo is located in the midst of idyllic nature near the archeological park of “Via Appia Antica” about 30 minutes from the historic centre of Rome. It offers five holiday apartments: atraveo No. 841282, atraveo No. 841511, atraveo No. 841609, atraveo No. 872970, und atraveo No. 873763.

The country estate in the south of Rome, restructured in 2013, now houses a total of five comfortable and thoughtfully restored gallery apartments with separate bedrooms. All the apartments feature a living area that is open and flooded with light, from which you can access the gallery and other rooms. High-quality terracotta and parquet floors, along with the open fireplace, enhance the atmosphere of well-being that the apartment exudes. The apartments are also equipped with wireless Internet access, satellite TV, air conditioning, a dishwasher.

The apartment has access outdoors into its own garden. Families, garden enthusiasts or owners of pets, in particular, appreciate this enclosed area of greenery outdoors. Here you can enjoy breakfast in the shade, sunbathing or a sociable barbecue evening. In the outdoor area a barbecue and garden furniture await you, and nearby there is a swimming pool (from May to September). Especially in the hot summer months in Rome, the swimming pool, somewhat set apart from the country estate, provides welcome refreshment for all guests.

On request, a reasonably priced transfer service on arrival and departure is available, connecting your accommodation with Ciampino airport (20 minutes), Fiumicino airport (25 minutes) or the city centre. It is also possible to arrange transport to trip destinations.

After meals, you can stroll in the quiet surroundings close to nature. You can recharge your batteries here after eventful days and away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. In the wider surroundings, restaurants and shops owners are waiting for you to visit: the proximity to the small municipality of Falcognana allows you to go shopping by bike or on foot. Apart from fresh bakery items, you can find everything necessary here for daily self-catering, as well as a pharmacy and a petrol station. The small restaurants, the pizzeria and the bar “Caffè Stella”, with their particular Roman charm, invite you to go on a culinary journey. Owing to the location to the south of the city, it is a good starting point not only for visiting the famous sights in Rome, but also for trips to the long sandy beaches of Ostia and to the excavation sites of the original and ancient harbour town of Rome – “Ostia Antica”. The papal residence “Castel Gandolfo” at Lake Albano is also within 15 minutes. Owing to the good connections provided by Via Ardeatina and the motorway ring around Rome, the accommodation is an ideal base for exploring in and around Rome. Those who leave their cars parked at the agriturismo or are travelling without a car can make use of the good public transport connections, with bus lines 044 and 702 within walking distance. The two bus lines run alternately every half an hour and get to the “Laurentina” metro station in 20 minutes.

Holiday apartment with a garden for up to six people

This brightly daylit holiday apartment welcomes you with two bedrooms, each with a double bed. One of these bedrooms is on the ground floor behind the centrepiece of the apartment, the open living, cooking and dining area. The bedroom provides access to an adjacent shower room with a shower cubicle, washbasin, WC, bidet and towel radiator. In the open living area there is a pull-out sofa bed, for two people. The kitchen unit is equipped with a two-ring hob, a mini oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave and small electric appliances such as a coffee machine, kettle and toaster for self-catering. A larger flatscreen TV with satellite reception is mounted on the wall under the stairs.
