“One can only going by car. The next town (Ballylickey) is not worth mentioning, but in the other direction lies 10 km Glengarriff where there are typical pubs and shops. As a base for car trips, the accommodation is perfect, the house is very quiet and if you enjoy walking, you can from the cliffs mackerel fishing (500 meters).”

“The house is located outside of a place, the nearest supermarket (with petrol station) is about 5 km (Ballylickey), catering about 10 km (Bantry). Very quiet location, walking distance from the sea (very nice way), much more beautiful nature in the area (the peninsulas Mizen Head, Sheep's Head, Beara and the "Ring of Kerry" are within easy reach). A car is absolutely necessary.”

“Fair price levels (week rental) in high season: 6 persons / 2 families. Attractive coastal scenery and lonely Bergland areas with small towns Glengariff and Bantry (Castle) and close to the attractive peninsulas Beara or Sheeps Head etc. - but ALWAYS car required. Basic supply of food / fuel is secured in about 4 km distance. The area itself is not crowded in midsummer.”
