Ireland visitor information

Ireland is very easy to reach by air or boat. Dublin, Cork and Shannon aiports accommodate flights from all over the U.K. and Europe and Dublin is just a two hour ferry ride from Holyhead. You can rent holiday houses and holiday apartments all over the country. Holiday rentals in cities like Dublin and Cork offer lots of entertainment, whereas countryside holiday homes offer space to rest and relax. Summer is an ideal time to visit Ireland, as the weather is warmer and dryer during that time of the year. Since summer is a very popular time to visit the country you should book your holiday rental well in advance.

Ireland is an appealing destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Its rugged hills, pristine natural landscapes and ancient ruins make it an ideal environment for hiking and mountain biking. You can walk along famous trails like the Ring of Kerry or explore Glenveagh National Park. Cities like Donegal, Galway and Sligo are also popular with surfers. If you prefer historic sites to outdoor adventures, Ireland has a lot to offer. You can set off from your holiday rental and discover Glendalough, a 6th century monastry in County Wicklow or kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle. “Attention: Being a tourist resort address Ballyvaughan was specified - the cottages are but in Bell Harbour, which is located about 8 km away and is not one of Ballyvaughan. Because there are also "Rent an Irish Cottage" soldier's post in Ballyvaughan, we were first wrong - but fortunately the Irish are very helpful. In Ballyvaughan there are refreshment stops and shopping. In Bellharbour there is only one pub - but this one is immediately in the countryside and reaches from here all destinations very quickly. The landscape compensates for the smaller deficiencies in the property.
An insider tip is the Hazel Mountain Chocolate Factory, together with café just around the corner (3 minutes by car direction Corker Pass to Kinvara).”

“Ballyvaughan is a pretty village. Shopping facilities are, however, a bit more expensive as a supermarket. The people there are very friendly. It is therefore advisable to use its bulk purchasing in the nearest large town. You also have to plan a bit more travel time, as the road is there something narrower and curvier.”

“Nice location in the Burren. About 10 min to Ballyvaughan. Time Should be Calculated to reach stores and other activities. Otherwise, Relatively centrally in the Burren to explore this beautiful region.”

“Very nice area and ideal starting point for hiking. The houses are not in the center, but what happens outside. But with a car to get anywhere quickly.”

“Ballyvaughan is a small, fine place. There are several ways for eating. The pubs are also available for tourists "living room in the evening." For shopping, there is a small supermarket that offers everything one needs that. Ballyvaughan is an ideal starting point to explore the Burren and the environment. Will you visit other hand Connemarra, one drives it pretty far.”
