“The facility is located a bit isolated on the edge of Bettystown. Nevertheless, the beach and pubs in the small village center can be reached in an acceptable timeframe.
A car is essential in my opinion.
As a starting point Bettystown is perfectly suitable for the surrounding attractions. Eg Newgrange, Trim Castle, Dublin (bus connection!), Powerscourt Garden, Glendalough, Wicklow Mountains, Mellifont Abbey, Hills of Tara, Monasterboice.
Not far away in Drogheda are a Lidl and Aldi supermarket. There is also a supermarket in Bettystown.”
