This charming 18th-century estate consists of a main building (sleeping up to 8 guests) and two cottages/gites (each sleeping up to 4 guests), making it extremely suitable for several families travelling together.
There is space for 16 people in total.
But individually the holiday homes are great places to stay as well.
There is a communal garden, which is large enough to guarantee everybody's privacy.
Each accommodation also features a private terrace and entrance.
The estate is fully enclosed and has ample parking space.

The perfect place for people looking for peace and quiet. The direct surroundings are ideal for walking, cycling and the location also makes a good base for visits to the large variety of interesting sights in the area.
Major attractions include the castles and wineries of the Loire to the north and the Futuroscope amusement park to the south, but also the popular Puy du Fou theme park.

There's an organic garden at 150 metres of the estate (Les Trois Noyers). This garden is managed locally and it supplies quite a few restaurants throughout the region with its products. The garden features 130 different types of heirloom tomatoes as well as other fruit and vegetables. Products are for sale on site as well.



This renovated holiday home is ideal for a family. It is located in Saint-Jean-de-Sauves, 3 km from a tennis court. In the house, authentic details such as wooden support beams, natural stone walls and the centuries-old fireplace have been preserved.

At 4 km distance you will find a forest, where you can make nice walks. A river flows at 5 km from the house and at 10 km distance there is a recreational lake with a beach. At 150 m from the house you will find an organic garden, where you can get fruit and vegetables. Don't forgot to visit the beautiful castles and wine houses of the Loire, Futuroscope, Puy de Fou and Les Trois Moutiers.

The living room has a cosy wood-burning stove and the open-plan kitchen has a dishwasher and an oven. There is a shared garden and you can relax in the open air on the private terrace. A washing machine is available. There is WiFi available in the house and a maximum of 1 pet is allowed.

The house can only be heated by a wood-burning stove. During the winter months (October to April inclusive) you pay extra for this; this is settled in the service costs that you pay in advance. The accommodation is not heated in any other way. The wood stove provides sufficient heating for the entire accommodation.

Concerning COVID-19: Guests for this holiday home are only accepted if they can comply with the COVID-restrictions and requirements as implemented by the local government. Please do check the restrictions again shortly before departure as the COVID-restrictions change over time.
Please note that most countries and/or areas have COVID-19 measures in place. We advise you to take this into account when booking your holiday home since a change in restrictions may not be a valid reason to cancel the booking free of charge.

    “Hele leuke accommodatie. Met veel liefde en zorg compleet ingericht. Echt een "franse"sfeer gecreerd door de Nederlandse eigenaren. Midden op het platteland , maar met voldoende mogelijkheden om leuke stadjes en dorpjes te ontdekken en uiteraard dichtbij de Loire en kastelen. Zijn bezig met de bouw van een zwembad, dus dat gaat nog meer toevoegen, Voor honden ook ideaal , een scala aan wandelingen en veel vrijheid voor ze in de tuin, die volledig is afgesloten.”

    “Een heel prettig huis en verblijf! Alles is aanwezig en het huis blijft koel (zelfs boven 40 graden). Mooie, rustige omgeving voor leuke uitstapjes, mooi wandelen en heerlijk rustig slapen. Wendy en Maarten koken een lekkere “table d’hôte”, geven goede tips en laten je je eigen gang gaan als je dat wilt. Er zijn drie huisjes op het terrein, je hebt een eigen terras en daaromheen is een grote gezamenlijke tuin. Veel ruimte en ook onze fietsen konden veilig in de garage staan. Een aanrader!”

    “Geweldige sfeervolle locatie in rustige omgeving. Wendy en Maarten hebben de locatie prachtig verbouwd en in de grote omheinde tuin is er altijd een gerieflijk plekje te vinden ( zon of schaduw) Als het in hun programma past willen ze zelfs je hond even uit laten zodat je wat langer op pad kunt. Mooie rustige omgeving, kunt ietsen en wandelen, voor vertier moet je wel even stukje rijden, . Kortom aanrader!”

    “Het middenin de zomer voor ons en voor onze Guus heerlijk koel bleef. Alles was er dat we nodig hadden, gezellig ingericht en honden kunnen geen kwaad. De eigenaren zijn grote hondenliefhebbers. Zij hebben zelf een hond en er was voor onze Guus altijd even tijd voor een knuffel en een 'praatje'. En ook voor ons :)



    Ideaal dat de tuin helemaal rondom is afgesloten, onze nieuwsgierige Guus ging graag op onderzoek uit, fijn idee dat hij het terrein niet af kon. Veel schaduwplekjes onder de bomen. Zelfs een douche om af te koelen!”

    “Mooie accommodatie, sfeervol, maar niet heel schoon. De eigenaar heeft ons vermeld dat ze problemen hebben met de poetsvrouw... ze zijn eraan bezig.

    Voor drie woningen, indien allen bezet wel weinig privacy.”
