2-person, ground-floor apartment with swimming pool in a beautifully landscaped, enclosed garden offering views of the hilly surroundings. The well-maintained garden consists of a wonderful white rose garden, a large lawn and two terraces with parasols. You'll also have a great, enclosed swimming pool (11.5m x 4.5m) and spa at your disposal. This description refers to 2 linked apartments. (931191 and 1302756)

The apartments are located just outside the village of Segonzac. Its geographical location makes this peaceful village the centre of the Grande Champagne region and the premier cru of the Cognac region, and it's characterised by the many vast vineyards. It's a great place for walking, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing and playing golf. If you're interested in learning more about Cognac, there are plenty of farms and large cognac houses to visit.

Other worthwhile trips include the cities of Cognac, seaside resort Royan, harbour town La Rochelle and the towns of Angoulème, Saintes and Poitiers. Holiday island Île de Ré is also nearby.

During the summer months, there are lots of local festivals, markets and festive evenings. Take a glass of Pineau de Charente out onto your terrace and enjoy the French life!
