Beautiful holiday cottage in a picturesque setting
Nestling in the peaceful, unspoilt countryside of the Towy Valley and overlooked by the magnificent 12th-century Dinefwr Castle, these three semi-detached holiday cottages occupy an idyllic rural setting. It is only 2.5 miles from Llandeilo, which has a good range of independent shops, cafe's restaurants and galleries.
This is an ideal base for visiting Wales. It is within easy reach of the breathtaking scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the beaches of west Wales and the splendid gardens of the Towy Valley. The National Botanic Gardens of Wales and Aberglasney Gardens are just minutes away. The bustling town of Carmarthen and the city of Swansea are both easily reached by car. It is only 7.5 miles from the M4, making it a great spot for exploring a larger area including the Gower Coastline and Pembrokeshire. It is only and hour and a quarter to Cardiff, so it is quite possible to include as a day trip.
Open plan kitchen/living /dining. One double bedroom and one single bedroom. It has a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate utility room.
There is a large open paddock for walking and letting your dog off the lead. There is also a large orchard where we grow our own apples and pears and blackberries. Within the paddock are three picnic tables.
There is a large games room with a pool table, table tennis and darts - perfect for when it's raining or when you would like the children out of the way while you prepare dinner.
Otherwise known as the 'Garden of Wales', Carmarthenshire is a must see on your list of places to visit. It has a wealth of history, castles, good food, amazing scenery and gardens and wonderful people.
We are only 15 minutes form the M4 which means we are conveniently situated so that you can easily explore a broader area such as Swansea and the Gower peninsular, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan and west towards Pembrokeshire. It is a great base to explore in every direction.
