The Val Thorens ski-resort is large and varied. It has become one of the most popular winter sports destinations. The unique Val Thorens ski-station is in a superb location at an altitude of 2300 metres. This makes it the highest and most snow-assured ski station in Europe. The lifts begin almost in front of the apartment. You'll find various shops, bars and restaurants in the two shopping centres. There are pleasant outdoor cafes on the slopes where you can enjoy the sun in the afternoon. The après-ski is considered one of the best in France. There is a swimming pool, a sauna and a six kilometre long toboggan run in the village. This atmospheric, luxurious residential complex is built in authentic Savoyard style using plenty of wood.



The Village Montana residential complex is in Val Thorens. It is at the foot of the ski-run. You can put your skis on in front of the complex in the morning and return on your skis in the afternoon. The complex has a 'Yin & Yang' area where you can enjoy a sauna, Turkish bath and massage. These facilities require payment. The apartments are attractively furnished and they all have balconies.

    “The accommodation was as expected ttz we have booked an apartment for 8 people to sit with 5 fairly comfortable.

    It is a pity that it was neither stated at the booking nor at the reception that parking in Val Thorens is only possible in the 4 parking spaces provided, of which the non-reserved parking spaces are /- 3 km from the center of VT. So tip mentioned when booking to also book a parking (parking 1 2 are in the center). Price for 1 week is 80 euros which is not too bad.

    One super negative point of our stay is the ski lure there are two in the residence one on the ski slope and one in the other wing (apparently ours) of the building (one time stairs and 2 separate lifts to reach the slopes) ).

    The ski area is great but the offer (and especially the practical information) for Val Thorens is insufficient.



    By the way, we have been booking both our summer and winter holidays through Belvilla for years and continue to book our holiday through Belvilla.

    We do not forget that last year Belvilla helped us to find an alternative, after a last minute failure of a landlord for which we thank you again.

    “Fantastic ski area, apartments are decorated broom cupboards. What you need is there. Not a luxury, but fine for a good night's sleep to a day of skiing in a great environment. I can't imagine a nicer ski area and how lucky we were with the week this time ....”
