This 5 bedrooms lovely chalet in Randogne for 10 persons is recommended for families and large groups. When the sun shines over the snow-covered mountains top, the village changes in splendid crystal. The accommodation is fully equipped, everything is more than sufficient, a beautiful environment for doing all kinds of activities. Winter sports enthusiasts will love it here.

Hiking trails, shops, sports, restaurants and beautiful swiss lakes are all only a km away from the place.

The chalet is child-friendly with children's bed and high chair. This is a lovely house with a spacious well-equipped living/dining room with large dining table and a large garden around it where you can sunbathe, play or just relax. It has a lovely outdoor seating area with a fireplace.

The chalet provides free WiFi, modern kitchen, barbeque, a couple of balconies has beautiful views, a terrace with panoramic view and a spacious parking area. There are possibilities of play equipment for children.

Please find free WIFI in chalet 'Le Chainon'. The Tourist Office provides any kind of touristinformation. At de Postoffice (Avenue de la Gare) you can retire CHF or EURO outside the building), also at some other banks in Crans Montana.
Skiers are advised to start up at Barzettes (about 2,5 KM by car, direction Montana). Here you find a big parking. The telecabine to Les Violettes brings you up to 2300 meters above sea level; from there to the Plaine Morte Glacier (3000 meters above sea level; superb panorama 360 around, facing the Mont Blanc massif, Matterhorn....etc.). Magnificent sunny slopes, overall not too heavy (red ones). All slopes of Montana Crans and Aminona are well connected to each other.
In Montana Crans are plenty of supermarkets (closing usually at 18.30 H and at noon as well); all kinds of shops, cafes, restaurants and clubs. Supermarkets also sell woodblocks for the fireplace (about CHF 10,00 per box/sack). Here also exquise patiseries/tearooms Taillens (centre of Montana, Crans) and Gerber (between Montana and Crans).
In Bluche is cosy local cafe-restaurant 'Auberge Le Petit Paradis'. Frequented by locals as welll as by international and cosmopolitic public (tourists and world-wide students from 'Ecole des Roches\\\", a famous Swiss Hotel Management school). Please don't forget to reserve your table! Fine fondue, steaks and local wines and spirits. Reasonable prices.
In case of health problems or casualties, you might visit local doctors (and dentist) in Montana Crans. If necessary and urgent, you might directly drive to the Sion hospital (25 minutes by car, well signalized along the highway to Sion),
In case of motor break-down, you can call or adress Garage 'Du Nord' in Montana-Village, (Renault garage Fam Bagnoud, about 0,8 KM downhill, along the roadside to Sierre-Chermignon. Also day/night fuel selfservice.
NB LPG/GPL CARS: Fuel station AGIP at Sion sells LPG/GPL, reasonable price. Leave motorway Sion Ouest/Aeroprt, direction Sion centre, then 500 meters. Open all week and until late in the evening.
Golfingsaison from May until the end of Octobre. Golf Club de Crans wellcomes guestplayers for competitions of several level (including closing prizedistributions with drinks afterward in the Clubhouse). Each first week of September, the Club hosts worldfamous Swiss Open - European Masters on the magnificent and demanding Seve Ballesteros' course! Nearby, the 9 Holes Jack Niklaus course, also attractive and chalenging. These courses were labeled by golfers press as the finest No 1 and No 3 Swiss golfcourses! Down in the Rhonevalley, playing golf nearly throughout the year. Really nice 18 holes near Sierre, Sion and Leuk (direction of Brig), all about 0,5 Hr by car. Reasonable greenfees; clubhouses with good-local dishes.
Many nice excursions by car nearby, e.g. the Lago Maggiore (It), 2 Hrs by splendid Simplonpass, and furtheron to Milan. Or Aosta (It) by the amazing Grand St Bernard Pass (about 2 HRS by car): Gallo-Roman heritage, nice old streets and squares, weekly market etc. Lake Geneva takes about 1 Hr by car (French or Swiss lakeside: Montreux (Chateau de Chillon, Lord Byron was here...). French coast Evian les Bains. Geneva and Airport Geneva-Cointrin takes about 2 Hrs highway by car (or by direct train from Sierre, line Milano - Brig - Geneva).
