Königsstuhl apartment
Our forest house Turracher Waldhaus enjoys an absolutely quiet and beautiful location, about 800 metres from the lake Turracher See.
The Königsstuhl apartment measures around 38m² and consists of a bedroom with a double bed and bunk bed, a fully-equipped living room-kitchen with a four-ring electric hob, oven, fridge, TV and a big comfortable sitting corner. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and WC. The apartment is fully-furnished and equipped, from the kitchen to the bedroom, with satellite TV, free Wi-Fi throughout, bed linen, towels, an electric stove, fridge, coffee machine, crockery…
There are parking spaces right by the house. Dogs are welcome free of charge. They can play right in front of the door. There is almost no car traffic (perhaps one car an hour passes at walking pace). You can simply enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the crystal clear mountain air from our natural sun terrace with a playground for children, deckchairs for adults, a campfire area, grill corner, trampoline and table tennis table.
In addition to the holiday apartment, there is a common room with a tiled fireplace stove, for sitting together sociably. Our new sauna with a relaxation room invites you to relax. Every morning, guests can receive deliveries of fresh rolls from the baker and everyday groceries. Those travelling by train can be picked up from the train station (Spittal and der Drau or Predlitz). A cot and a highchair can be provided. Utility costs are per day.
In summer, countless hiking trails starting on the doorstep are waiting to be explored by you and your dog, leading to dreamy mountain lakes and impressive peaks. Within an hour’s drive, warm swimming lakes and countless Carinthian trip destinations await you. In winter, Turracher höhe is a skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing paradise (14 lifts). It is about 60 metres to the blue piste and about 130 metres to the nearest lift station (6-seater chairlift). You can set out on skis right from the doorstep. The nearest ski school is about 600 metres away. A free shuttle takes you from the front door to the ski school. Your car can also have a holiday here. The driveway to the house is constantly cleared of snow. As our house guests, you receive a price reduction of up to 8% on standard multi-day lift passes.
