Holiday apartment in a convenient location for activities and trips in the area

The apartment is in Marktredwitz on a south-facing slope in a popular residential area.

The apartment is on the ground floor. The two spacious bedrooms each have a double bed and one has an additional single bed. The kitchen is very well-equipped. The bathroom with underfloor heating has a large barrier-free shower, a WC and a washing machine. You can spend cosy evenings in the living and dining room with a flatscreen TV, a comfortable sofa suite with a three-seater, two-seater an armchair, as well as a dining table with chairs.

In front of the living room there is a roofed terrace with an open fireplace and seating. The well-tedned and fully fenced garden with a Koi carp pond offers lovely sitting areas and a lawn. There is a walk-in windmill for children to play in.

It is 300 metres to the nearby municipal forest with a range of hiking possibilities. The “Forsthaus” restaurant with hearty meals and a cosy ambience invites you to call in. It is still affordable, like everything in this area. You can go on extensive hikes from the house e.g. to the local mountain Kösseine, which has gastronomy and an accommodation chalet. It is about 6km to the bird of prey park with daily eagle flight shows. In the neighbouring Fichtelgebirge you can go walking on mountains between 900 and 1050 metres in altitude. There are also several lakes and rock formations in the Fichtelgebirge, such as the romantic “cliff labyrinth” where you can walk and climb, as well as chairlifts, a summer luge at Ochsenkopf and climbing trails. At the foot of the labyrinth there is Germany’s most beautiful and well-known open-air stage, where the Luisenburg Festspiele are held every year. Other trip destinations to be recommended are Bayreuth, the Waldsassen basilica and the Czech spa triangle. The town itself has around 10,000 inhabitants and is an up-and-coming town with a beautiful pedestrian zone and excellent shopping facilities. It has an indoor pool and a charmingly designed outdoor pool.
