Location

New construction country house set in a quiet rural area only 3km. to the charming coastal village of Porto Petro with nice sea front restaurants, cafeterias and a few local shops. About 10 minutes drive you will reach the Natural Park Mondrago with beautiful sandy beaches and different routes that the park offers where you can enjoy long walks. The tourist resort Cala D'Or with several sandy coves, its seemingly never ending choice of restaurants and the impressive international yacht harbour is 5km. away. In Cala D'or you can also practice water sports or take excursions by boat to discover the pretty south-east coast of Majorca. 15 Minutes drive direction Porto Colom you will find the Golf course "Vall d'Or Golf".

The house

Verdal is a beautiful rustic style new construction house of 200sq. metres. This two-storey country house offers spacious bedrooms full of natural light and exterior walls clad with rural stone. From the bright hall there is access to the open living/dining room with sliding doors that connects to the terrace and pool area. The kitchen is spacious, well equipped, with a breakfast table and an utility room that holds the washing machine. On this floor there is also a master double bedroom with a beautiful wooden bed, en-suite shower-room and sliding doors to access the terrace and pool. The upper floor offers three bedrooms, all with access to its own private balcony/terrace with fantastic open country views with the coast in the distance. One has twin beds with en-suite bathroom with a big corner bath. The other two, a double bedroom and a twin, share a separate bathroom.

The three bedrooms upstairs have air conditioning cold/warm with limited timetable from 14:00 h - 16:00 h and 20:00 h - 07:00 h.

Info: Electricity and hot water is produced by solar panels and a generator (it works a maximum of 2h. per day) that located approx. 100 metres away from the house. If you are outside of the house you might hear a bit of noise if the generator is working.

The exterior

The house is set in a natural rural area on grounds of 8.000sq. metres with open views of the surrounding uncultivated areas with carob tress, bushes, wild olive trees and the beautiful coast in the distance. At the back of the house there is a sun terrace and the pool, a great brick built barbecue, a sink and dining table; the perfect place to enjoy “al fresco” meals overlooking the beautiful open country views with the coast at the far end. Large swimming pool with Roman steps (10.5m. x 5m. - Depth min.1.25, max.1.80); the ideal spot to relax during the long summery days. The property is fully fenced with the traditional dry stone walls and has a gated driveway.

Enclosed in the price are bed linen, towels for the house, tea towels, the final cleaning and other costs (electricity, water, gas).

The first cot and highchair are included in the price.
