The nine-hectare site this holiday house is on is very close to the little medieval town of Montemor-o-Velho, halfway between the town of Coimbra and the beautiful Atlantic beaches of Figueira da Foz. The house is surrounded by orchards and forest and looks out over the lovely landscape, having the Mondego river as a background.
This countryhouse spreads across 142m² of living space, set on a 9.000m² property. It accommodates up to eight people spread by two double bedrooms and in two bunk beds in another bedroom. Additional people can be accommodated, please let us know in advance or at booking time.
It has two bathrooms: one with a shower and toilet, the other with a bath, a toilet and bidet.
There is also a dining room and a living room with a fireplace.
The kitchen is fully-equipped with a fridge, freezer compartment, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and stove. A charcoal grill is also available.
The 45m² sunny balcony sets a lovely view over the rice fields and the landscape as far as the Mondego River. You can spend warm summer days in and around the pool (seasonal from May through September). Swimming clothing and bags can be stored in a pool room, separated from the house and close to the swimming-pool. There are also tables, chairs and a football table. Near this annex there’s a separate toilet room with a shower.
Below the balcony, not far from the pool, there is a small playground.
Six parking spaces are available and are complementary.
On-site there is a chapel from the 18th century (closed to visitors).
The holiday house is an ideal starting point for exploring rural Portugal. It is also not far from the most beautiful Atlantic beaches of Figueira da Foz.
