Charming holiday house with a terrace and its own pool, in a quiet location near the beach
This charming holiday house with its own pool is near the beach, in the quietly situated village of Kiotari on the island of Rhodos. The house is ideal for a couple or a family looking for peace and quiet.
The one-storey house of around 80m² can accommodate four people. All the rooms have convertible air conditioning (cool/warm). The house has a bathroom with a bath and two bedrooms with a double bed (180cm wide) and two single beds (90cm wide). The high living room with a wooden ceiling has a sitting area on the right, with a two-seater and a three-seater sofa in front of the fireplace, which can be used for heating in winter, as well as for grilling. Next to it there is the dining space for six people. The wooden table and chairs are handmade. Of course satellite TV and a DVD/CD player are provided. The router for the Internet is below the TV. The kitchen, which is separated from the dining space by a wooden counter, is fully-equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and an espresso/cappuccino machine. This summer house was just renovated in spring 2019 in both bedrooms, the bathroom and the kitchen area.
The house is surrounded by a large plot of land with fruit trees. The site, which also has parking space, is enclosed by a white stone wall. There is a 24m² pool with a lounger area for relaxing, with two loungers, a parasol and two little tables. You can make yourselves comfortable on the terrace, furnished with a table and chairs, for breakfast or for grilling, whilst enjoying a wonderful view of the mountains and the sea. The pool and the garden are for your own exclusive use.
The house is also suitable for a stay in winter, as the house has a fireplace and you can also heat with the air conditioning. A car is recommended to explore the area and the island. A free of charge welcome pack full of great treats and fresh eggs, olives and honey from the family farm is waiting for you as soon as you arrive to the property. The landlords pick the guests up from the airport and drive them to the property. This is also free of charge.
It is only 800 metres to the nearest beach with crystal clear water. There are a supermarket and a butcher 700 metres away. There is an ATM in the village of Gennadi about a kilometre away. Despite the quiet and private location, without direct neighbours, you can go windsurfing or kite surfing near the house. Tavernas offer traditional fish dishes. Guests interested in history should visit the village of Lindos 18km away. The beach at Prasonisi in the south of the island (28km away) is interesting for surfers, as well as suitable for swimming.
