    “Alcantarilha is definitely not a tourist resort and comparatively small. But has an Aldi, as well as small restaurants, which are absolutely recommendable! You are fast at the sea or in Albufeira with its busy nightlife. Equally worth a trip to the caves of Benagil (about 15 minutes by taxi). From the airport in Faro it took about 35 minutes by taxi. On the way back to the airport, the stewardess arranged a transfer, through which we paid only about 60% of the taxi fare.”

    “We had rented 2 cars in Faro airport. The property was located in a small village with stores nearby, restaurants and a post office but a car was needed. Very narrow streets but it had its charm. The beach was nearby.
    We went on a boattrip, to the zoo and other attractions.”
