    “Kamitz estate lies at the end of a cul-de-sac. We always went to Torgau (15 minutes by car) for a more extensive selection of supermarkets and restaurants than for example in Arzberg or Beilrode. The villages in the vicinity give a desolate impression. We have made trips to cultural cities of Dresden (UNESCO), Leipzig, Wittenberg, Worlitz (Unesco gardens) porceleinstad Meissen, Moritzburg and the Hubertusburg. All about 50-60 kilometers from Kamitz, but only accessible by roads (sometimes kilometers vowels), so expect generous one hour travel time. The owner knows the surrounding area very well and can recommend lesser known sights closer. A drive along the embankment towards Alt Belgern and Martin Kirchen or take the ferry across the Elbe to Belgern is beautiful. There may also be fished. For children there is less experience, the Sommerrodelbahn in Torgau was closed, as well as miniature golf. Canoe rental is possible around Leipzig and Dresden, which we found too far away. If your children can have fun no good then this is probably a less suitable destination.”
