    “The place is small and has a small supermarket, a café and a restaurant. As indicated in the description, a car is absolutely necessary. We have made any purchases on the way back from the beach or a sightseeing tour in larger supermarkets.     “Coimbrao is a small community. Things there are not small supermarket for emergency purchases. The nearest large supermarket is Intermarche in Vieira - has on until 21:00 clock - even on Sundays! The beautiful, kilometer-long beaches are by car about 10 minutes. The beaches are clean and well equipped with free - and clean! - Toilet facilities. For swimming it is too cold and the surf is huge - not really suitable for young children (a small lake behind the dunes is nearby). To the highway - not to hear from the house - it is also only about 10 minutes, so that many of the attractive towns in the region can be reached quickly.”
