    “Das Haus ist wenige Minuten von der Fähre nach Refsnes entfernt, doch befindet sich die nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit in Sortland (von zu Hause etwa 30 Minuten Autofahrt). Ansonsten kann man nicht wirklich von einem "Ferienort" Flesnes sprechen, da es sich um wenige Häuser vereinzelt am Ufer liegend. Das muss aber nicht schlecht sein, wir hatten Einsamkeit gesucht und die spärlich besiedelte Gegend war ziemlich ideal dafür. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass jedes Mal, wenn man das Haus verlässt, um egal wohin zu fahren, man zuerst zwanzig Minuten lang am Fjord lang fährt. Die Straße ist teilweise ein wenig eng und hat viele Kurven.”
