    “The place Geschwenda is less recommendable, if you want to have everything directly on site. On the first evening we searched in vain for an open restaurant and it was Saturday !! Also in the surrounding area it was difficult. In Oberhof (about 15-20 minutes away) we found a restaurant. Nevertheless it is a nice, quiet place. For hiking it was very nice and recommended. The Lütschetalsperre we liked very much and it is worth to go there. There are many nice places to go by bike or on foot with beautiful views of the Thuringian Forest.”
