    “Der Ort ist klein und niedlich. Es gibt eine Pizzeria, die wir nicht testen konnten, da die Besitzerin krank war. Das andere Restaurant war etwas außerhalb unseres Budgets und hat außerdem lediglich mittags und abends je zwei Stunden geöffnet. Der Dorf-Coop und ein weiteres kleines Geschäft sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, hat aber nur wenig Brauchbares und das auch sehr teuer. Am besten fährt am auf der SS1 nach Livorno und fährt Ri Livorno Zentrum ab: dort ist der Iper Coop ausgeschildert. Dies ist ein riesiges Einkaufszentrum, das wirklich alles hat, was das Herz begehrt. Auch der "Markt" in Nibbiaia hat nichts Brauchbares. Im Zimmer gab es eine deutsche Anleitung mit Hinweisen, wo man einkaufen gehen kann und Strände findet, wo Märkte stattfinden etc. Insgesamt ist man etwas ab vom Schuss, ohne Auto kann man nichts unternehmen.”
