    “We were in Rockanje in the late season. It is a small town with a few facilities such as a supermarket, at least two bakeries and at least one B&B which also has a restaurant function.
    The area offers various nice relaxation options such as beaches, a cruise on a whisper boat, a visit to Rotterdam, etc.

    According to the description 500 m to the sea ..... on foot we never reached the beach ....
    We went with a child and a cone ... then we came to a pasture with cows (we had to go over the pasture to the sea, we then afterwards learn)
    ...... where a warning sign was ..... at your own risk and instructions how to behave towards the cows on the pasture ...... we have decided not to pass the cows ... especially with toddler .... so we went on.

    “In Rockanje there is a gas station and also supermarkets to meet purchase needs well.
    It is a small quiet place. Highly recommended is a visit to the lunchroom "DE JONGENS".
    There are delicious chocolate specialties here. All sweet tooths will be delighted with the offer of this shop.


    However, parking on the beach should be treated with caution, as free parking is NOT free. But there are no parking prohibition signs. The parking machines accept no money, but only a payment card. The description is in Dutch, so that a German tourist has trouble understanding it.
